Day 1.  Irkutsk, City tour

Irk 1Arrival in Irkutsk. Meeting with the guide, check-in the hotel

Irkutsk is the Eastern city in Siberia. From here you will start a legendary Trans-Siberian Tour and you will have a chance to explore Russia from East to West by train. Irkutsk is our first stop. Today you will know the history of this amazing city and the history and legends about the  decembrists . During the excurion you will see the XIX century architecture, classical Orthodox churches, Governor’s house and so on. And you also will visit one of the Museums of Irkutsk (on choice Decembrist museum, Local Lore Museum, Art Museum).

Day 2. Irkutsk Excursion to Listvyanka.

listvToday you will visit an open-air museum of wooden architecture – Taltsy. Here you will see a great collection of wooden houses of the XVI-XIX centuries, furniture and housewares of  traditional Russian villages. We will see the interior of Russian fortress and tower constructed in the XV century and huts and churches, shaman’s yurts and many more. After that we will visit the Baikal museum where you will see a very interesting exhibition about Lake Baikal, Baikal flora and fauna, see Baikal seals in aquarium and make an interactive diving tour to the Baikal bottom. After that you will visit Chersky Stone, where you can enjoy panoramic view on the Lake and you will  walk along the Baikal shore and visit the ancient wooden Saint Nicolas Church and of course you will visit the fish and souvenir market. Overnight in Listvyanka.

Day 3. Irkutsk, Lake Bailkal

Today you will have a whole day trip along The Circum-Baikal Railway. The famous Circum Baikal railroad was built on the western side of the lake included 38 tunnels with the overall length of 9063 m. This tour by the Circum-Baikal Railway is unforgettable. It is interesting because all the original design of this railway was kept by locals and you can feel the hostorical atmosphere and enjoy the scenery from the window.

Overnight in Irkutsk.

Day 4. Irkutsk – Krasnoyarsk

Early in the morning we will board the train to Krasnoyarsk and continue our Trans-Siberian railway tour. Our journey will take around 18 hours. Lunch and dinner on board. In the evening, arrival in Krasnoyarsk. Transfer to the hotel. 

Day 5. Krasnoyarsk

During the city tour you will visit the most interesting places of the city: Mira square with outstanding view of Yenisei, the monument to Andrew Dubenskoy, Praskeva Pyatnitsa Chapel and you will also visit the view-point – the Karaulnaya hill and enjoy the panoramic view. And you also will have a free time to explore the town.

Day 6. Krasnoyarsk Day trip to the National Park «Stolby»

Today you will go hiking to one of the most beautiful national park in Russia. This place will give you unforgettable impressions and you will have the most beautiful scenery photographies! After this excursion you will fall in love with beauty of Russian nature. Boarding the train to Ekaterinburg.

Day 7. Krasnoyarsk – Ekaterinburg

Our journey will take around 36 hours. Lunch and dinner on board. In the evening, arrival in Krasnoyarsk.

Day 8. In the train – Ekaterinburg

Arrival in Ekaterinburg. Transfer to the hotel. Free time.

Day 9. Ekaterinburg. City- tour, Monastery Ganina Yama, Border between Europe and Asia

hram-na-kroviDuring city tour you will learn the history and legends of Ekaterinburg. The excursion starts in the heart of Ekaterinburg – the Historical Square of the city where you will see the city plan, the monuments of city founders, the dam, the Chapel of St.Ekaterina – the patroness of the city. During the excursion you will walk along the old streets of the city that represent the style of the XIX century, see the unique monuments of industrial architecture of the XVIII centurymansions of the XVIII-XIX century – the Sevastianov's mansion, the Kharitonov-Rastorguev's mansion, learn the literary and theatrical life of Ekaterinburg and also see the face of modern Ekaterinburg -city. You also will visit the Church on the Blood that is situated instead of the Ipatiev House where Nicolas II and his family lived and were killed. After lunch you will visit the Monastery Ganina Yama where you will know about history of the last tsar and his family. After you will visit an amazing place – the Border between Europe and Asia

Day 9. Ekaterinburg – Nevyanskaya Leaning tower.

DSCN5735[1]Today we will go to Nevyansk – the oldest center of the Ural Steel. During the excursion you will visit this monument of XVIII century, see the first lightning rod, a secret laboratory for the money production, the auditory room where you can hear every word spoken in a whisper, the antique English clocks, which were more expensive when buying the tower itself.

Transfer to the railway station. we will board the train to Moscow. Our journey will take around 30 hours. Dinner on board.

Day 10. In the train – Moscow 

Meal on board. Arrival to Moscow in the evening. Check-in the hotel.

Day 11. Moscow, City tour

During excursion you will see ancient architecture and orthodox cathedrals, avenues and squares, modern skyscrapers and other landmarks of the city: The Kremlin, Stalin's skyscrapers, The Novodevichy Convent, the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, the Vorobyovy Gory, the Poklonnaya hill, Business center "Moscow-city" and the Kutuzovsky prospectus, the Russian government building in Moscow, the monument to the founder of Moscow –Yuri Dolgoruky, The Bolshoi theatre, etc.

Also you can visit St. Basil's Cathedral, that was built during reign of Ivan the Terrible to commemorate the victory over Kazan Khanate.

Day 12. Moscow Tretyakov Gallery

Today you will have a chance to visit one of the largest museums of fine arts that has an exhibition of Russian art from its origins till the XX century, i.e. from anonymous Russian icons to the paintings signed by Kandinsky and Malevich. Today you will have a short excursion, as the museum has more than 100,000 pieces, so you need more than 1 week to see everything. In the afternoon you will have a free time.
