Two capitals of Russia (5 Days/4 nights)
Day 1. St. Petersburg, City tour
Arrival to the railway station or airport. Meeting with the guide, check-in the hotel.
St. Petersburg – so-called “ window to the West”- is one of the most romantic cities in Russia. We will visit the main sights such as St. Isaac’s Cathedral, the Church of Our Saviour on Spilt Blood, the Peter and Paul Fortress, the Winter Palace, the Kazan Cathedral and etc. You will admire the beauty of numerous rivers and canals, the amazing view to the Spit of Vasilievsky Island and the Winter Palace.
Day 2. St. Petersburg, Pushkin (Tsarskoe Selo) and Peterhof
Today we will go to the summer residences of Russian emperors and we will see the wonderful Catherine Palace with its famous «Golden suite of rooms», and of course we will visit the famous Amber Room. In the afternoon we will continue our excursion and we will visit Peterhof — an amazing residence of Peter the Great. Here you will enjoy walking in the most beatiful parks in Russia and you will see a lot of water cascades, magnificent gardens with classical statues.
Day 3. St. Petersburg, State Hermitage museum – Moscow
Today we will visit one of the biggest museum in Russia and in the whole world – The State Hermitage museum . Here you can enjoy paintings of famous artists such as Rembrand, Leonardo da Vinci, Rafael, Michelangelo, Tiziano and etc.
After the tour we will have a transfer to the airport.
Arrival in Moscow. Meeting with the local guide. Transfer to the hotel.
Day 4. Moscow City tour
Moscow is the biggest city in our country that has the most interesting cultural and historical places such as Red Square, St. Basil’s Cathedral, the Kremlin, the Bolshoi Theater, the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour and etc. Today you will learn history of Russian capital and also you can see the modern part of the city – full of skyscrapers and business centers. Moscow is the heart of our country and the main city that you should visit if you want to travel to Russia. In the afternoon you will have a walking tour to the Moscow metro. The Moscow metro is one of the most beautiful metro in the world. Actually it was built in 30-s of the XX c. and it was constructed as a symbol of the Soviet people’s achievements.
Day 5. Moscow Kremlin
Today you will have a very interesting excursion to the Moscow Kremlin – the main part of every excursion program. Here you will see such famous monuments as the Tsar Bell, the Tsar Cannon, The Ivan the Great Bell Tower and Russian orthodox cathedrals.
Transfer to the airport.
