Day 1. Arrival to St. Petersburg
Arrival to the railway station or airport. Meeting with the guide, check-in the hotel.
Day 2. St. Petersburg, City tour
St. Petersburg – so-called “ window to the West”- is one of the most romantic cities in Russia. We will visit the main sights such as St. Isaac’s Cathedral, the Church of Our Saviour on Spilt Blood, the Peter and Paul Fortress, the Winter Palace, the Kazan Cathedral and etc. You will admire the beauty of numerous rivers and canals, the amazing view to the Spit of Vasilievsky Island and the Winter Palace.
City tour in St.Petersburg is the great opportunity to learn this wonderful city during the summer and enjoy its white nights during summer time. White nights is the time when yo can walk in the city at night and it will be not dark at all.
Day 3. St. Petersburg, State Hermitage museum
Today we will visit one of the biggest museum in Russia and in the whole world – The State Hermitage museum . Here you can enjoy paintings of famous artists such as Rembrand, Leonardo da Vinci, Rafael, Michelangelo, Tiziano and etc.
After the tour we will have a transfer to the Railway Station.
Day 4. Day in the train
Overnight in the train.
Day 5. Ekaterinburg. City- tour and Border between Europe and Asia
Arrival to Ekaterinburg. Meeting with the local guide. Transfer to the hotel.
During city- tour you will learn the history and legends of Ekaterinburg. The excursion starts in the heart of Ekaterinburg –the Historical Square of the city where you will see the city plan, the monuments of the city founders, the dam, the Chapel of St.Ekaterina – the patroness of the city. During the excursion you will walk along the old streets of the city that represent the style of the XIX century, see the unique monuments of industrial architecture of the XVIII century, mansions of the XVIII-XIX century – the Sevastianov’s mansion, Kharitonov-Rastorguev’s mansion, learn the literary and theatrical life of Ekaterinburg and also see the face of modern Ekaterinburg -city. You also will visit the Church on the Blood that is situated instead of Ipatiev House where Nicolas II and his family lived and were killed.
After you will visit an amazing place –the Border between Europe and Asia
Day 6. Ekaterinburg. Ganina Yama
After lunch you will visit the Monastery Ganina Yama where you will know about history of the last tsar and his family. After breakfast you will go to the excursion to Church on the Blood, that was built on the place where last Russian tsar and his family spent their last days and you will learn lots of legends about the most tragic historical event in Russian history. Also you will visit the monastery Ganina Yama, that was built in honour of saint martyrs (all members of Romanov where found at this place). Nowadays it is the most beautiful monastery in Ural. Here you are not only learn about Russian history, but also about Russian architecture. Most of the churches are wooden. It is very unique and interesting place.
Day 7. Ekaterinburg.
